A mobile task force is dispatched across Denmark to help local police solve tough cases. When a female police commissioner who has ambitions on behalf of her gender selects detective Ingrid Dahl as the new head of a Danish police travel unit, it does not come without problems for the young detective. She struggles to unite career and family, and she has to establish a cooperation with a team of detectives including the man who had expected to take her job. However, the initial uncertainty soon turns to trust and even friendship, and the team proves its worth investigating the nation's most vicious cases of murder and violent crime. i missed the first two episodes of Unit One. I have watched it religiously ever since. i think it is an amazing show. please keep the show going. i love it. i rate it very highly along with Inspector Rex do any of the actors speak English are there any fan club sites a favorite in my family is "IP" i sincerely hope that they continue to produce this show as it the highlight of an otherwise boring Friday nights telly.how many episodes are there in the series? are there and plans for another series. i really hope that it isn't a one off . i would also like to know what city the show is filmed in. the country is beautiful. It is beyond me why two million Danish people each week sit down to watch this terrible show. The dialogue is terrible and not realistic. The characters are hollow and simplistic. There's a tough man, a tough woman and a sensitive man. The writers actually say that they have modeled the characters after Greek mythology! Give me a break! All the characters are of course brilliant policemen. When I have watched this show I have longed for "District Hill Street" and "NYPD Blue". These are brilliant shows, and "Rejseholdet" is a lousy copy. This program is a symptom of the disease Danish television is currently suffering from.
